Certificate III in Landscape Construction

Landscape is the alteration of the natural or built environment to change the use of the property.  This may be on a large – commercial or smaller- domestic scale.  This sector includes the research, planning, design and installation of landforms and softscapes – plants, their establishment and ongoing maintenance and hardscapes – construction elements such as timber, brick, stone, concrete, metal and water. 


Many of our graduates have been commended for their studies through Landscape Industry Awards as employers, apprentices and trainees.


This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in landscape construction.

The landscaping industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.


There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

  • For Fee For Service Students, we base duration on Volume of Learning as recommended by ASQA such as Certificate II = up to 12 months or 1200 hours, and Certificate III, IV or Diploma = up to 24 months or 2400 hours.
