Certificate III in Production Horticulture

Production horticulture involves the large scale production and selling of fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers and nursery stock.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification provides a vocational outcome in production horticulture.

The qualification enables individuals to select a tree cropping, vegetable or berry production, grape growing or mushroom production context as a job focus, or a mixture in the case of mixed enterprises.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

DURATION

  • For Nominal Terms for User Choice Students, please refer to: http://qtis.training.qld.gov.au/

  • For Certificate 3 Guarantee Program related students, please refer to relevant course information flyer.

  • For Fee For Service Students, we base duration on Volume of Learning as recommended by ASQA such as Certificate II = up to 12 months or 1200 hours, and Certificate III, IV or Diploma = up to 24 months or 2400 hours.
