Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management

Qualifications are available up to advanced diploma and are available for participants wishing to work across cleared natural areas, environments under threat, pest management, weeds, insects, diseases, pest animals, biological control, erosion control, revegetation, reduction of pollution, dune stabilisation, seed collection, and land and sea management.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification provides an occupational outcome in conservation and land management. Work would be carried out under general guidance and supervision.

The qualification enables individuals to select an Indigenous land management, conservation earthworks, lands, parks and wildlife or natural area management context as a job focus or a mix of these.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

DURATION

  • For Certificate 3 Guarantee Program related students, please refer to relevant course information flyer.

  • For Fee For Service Students, we base duration on Volume of Learning as recommended by ASQA such as Certificate II = up to 12 months or 1200 hours, and Certificate III, IV or Diploma = up to 24 months or 2400 hours.
